MES Tshirt Quilt Sampler

All from Elementary school shirts where the kids attended school. Some are donated, six of the 15 were my personal shirts. The quilt measures approx 50 by 80, nearly twin size. Very thankful to all the teachers/staff that donated shirts to me last year for this sampler.

I love the rainbow colored paw prints, very fitting since they are the BullDogs. It reminded me of tempra paint often used in Elementary schools.

Used the same color blue cotton to make the hand made binding

The backing is a flannel tie dye blue. It is super soft and cuddly. I love how the quilt turned out and for local events I am hoping this sampler will help people desire a quilt like this of their own- giving me some local orders.
