MeKenzei Leighanne's 16th Birthday

Hard to believe this girly turned 16. My massage therapist, and also our friend gave her some foot scrub and lavender oil to enjoy

Mother's Day and her Birthday fall very close together, this year they happened to fall on the same day so after church we went to the park and got some cute photos

I really love taking photos, one day I will purchase a better camera and take a class too. 

This is one of my favorites, it was too funny and just kind of happened

Couple photos are hard to come by

I sometimes forget to take photos of daddy and the boys. We sure missed Jakob. Its always so strange to post photos or make calendars and he is in so few. We have to figure out how to make some family trips to Dallas to get photos there

Local Teacher Quilt Order with Tshirts

This order was for a queen size Tshirt quilt as well as two pillowcases with extra logos

I love teachers so this quilt meant a lot to me. They are a special kind of being.

She chose a really pretty blue leaf flannel for the back, the picture doesn't do it justice

The black fabric for the front was so pretty.

The pillowcases were very unique

Graduation Quilt for a Friends Daughter

So many of our friends children graduate this year 

A friend of mine that does massages traded a massage as part of her portion of this quilt and then I paid for the materials

Mekenzei got an award for Acadec, it was an awesome honor

She also got an award for all A's one B Honor Roll, what a great job

Sometimes I think it is hard to follow in Jakob's footsteps. Junior year she will be setting herself apart for sure.

Memory Quilts

These quilts were for a wife and then the son who passed away's mother

We had little labels made for the quilt and she wanted them on the front bottom corner

The wife had dragon fly type themes for the bedroom so this fabric was perfect
