Thankful to a sweet friend that gave us some clothing, Mekenzei ended up with this pretty dress and it will work perfectly for her to attend Prom with her senior friend from school

Donation gift for Principal

The Principal of the High School was given another position, so I made a very quick quilt as a gift for a pep rally in two days time. It was a lot of work, but turned out beautifully

I hope it will be a treasure of memories for him

I am thankful to all the organizations that donated the shirts for the quilt.

Lace Quilt

Sometimes I get items that I have never encountered before. 

This quilt had thin knit fabric underneath the lace tops, it was a lot of work to try and put together

Depot Day

Depot Day, we love volunteering in town. It was a little slow after set up and I looked out and saw this

These two are so amazing at times, they truly have a love hate relationship. I enjoy these moments the most.

Top Ten Percent

MeKenzei worked very hard and has maintained her top ten standing for Sophomore Year. I am very proud of her dedication. it takes so much time and effort with these advanced courses.

Graduation Quilt

Graduation quilts tend to have so many shirts, esp if you have collected for a while

This one had so many it was hard to fit them all in

I kept just enough of them to make it all work

Unlike a school graduation quilt, this was more of a dance studio quilt

It was queen size and weighed a ton

The dance student and studio both loved it

Art Quilt for Auction

I love special requests, here is another art quilt, this one for an auction

I had cut fabric squares and mailed them to the customer. While I waited for the art squares I had fabric shipped to me. She worked with me to pick out exactly what they wanted for the quilt.

I think it turned out super cute

Academic Decathalon

They did so well in their competitions. I am really going to miss the kids being part of this group. Jakob had been with them for a quite a while in high school so it was nice MeKenzei tried it and had the experience

Acadec Award night

MeKenzei didn't compete with the Acadec team but she did coach them. She had a great time learning everything and helping everyone stay positive and study hard.

She was a great help to the teacher, helping her with anything that was needed.
