Purex Fresh BlueBonnet Detergent Coupon Giveaway

Being a resident in Texas means that spring time is Bluebonnet season. Purex has joined the excitement with this new detergent. I love the scent of this bottle of Purex Fresh Bluebonnet Detergent. It truly reminded me of laundry as a child that was brought in after being hung all day on my grandmother's clothes line outside. It has a fresh scent and is not overpowering scent wise. This is truly important to my family.
We have some laundry obstacles in our house, one is the large amounts of rain we get here in Texas, that means a crazy amount of wash due to dogs and the mud created outside from all this wet weather. It also means I tend to wash a large amount of bedding as well. There is nothing worse than the smell of wet dog.
Of course my daughter may beg to differ as this boys gym clothes are pretty ripe. I am pleased to say that I ran both a load of towels and his gym clothes and you would never know how bad they smelled before. They came out clean, smelling fresh and it really met our needs.
Now about this giveaway. Currently Purex Fresh Bluebonnet detergent can be purchased here in Texas at HEB locations through participating stores. I have a couple of coupons to giveaway for those who would like to enter. The entries are simple and the contest lasts a week.

a Rafflecopter giveaway

All opinions are my own and I was provided a coupon to purchase my own bottle of detergent to provide this review. This is in no way related to Blogger, facebook or any other social media.
The winner will be contacted by email and mailed a coupon for purchasing of the new Fresh Bluebonnet Detergent.

Martha Home Mary Way Day 1

Day One of Martha Home the Mary Way~ 31 Days to a Clean Home
Challenge is to Put a load of laundry in the wash.
Kitchen: Do the dishes, scrub pans, clean out sink.
Gather Papers from counters and set aside
Wipe Counters
I am following the challenge but also doing some deep clean and organizing as I go. We have six people living in a space meant for four come May. That means we have work at fitting a lot in a small space.
Today I  put the laundry in the washer, and ran two loads.
Then I tackled the kitchen- dishes, counters, walls behind sink, the sink.
I also wiped down appliances.
This seemed like a small task, this is before.
This is after. We have a container full of lids and a couple extra containers that I hope to go through once my husband brings home all his work containers and then the dishwasher finishes running. I am thinking I will be able to part way with 90% on that bottom shelf. That will be nice.
I also tackled the fridge and freezer. We parted ways with expired food, cleaned all the shelves and drawers and organized the food contents.
We also wiped down the outside, put up all the recipes into a binder.
I still need to wipe the top, pull the fridge out and clean the wall and underneath but that is a bigger job for the weekend.
Day two task:
Kitchen: Clean out and wash down interior of fridge. Clean out interior and exterior of microwave.
I will be working on the upper cabinets, microwave and stove top.
I am loving the #MarthaHomeMaryWay Challenge

Purex Fresh Mountain Breeze Crystals Coupon and Sweepstakes

I love the simplicity of Purex Crystals for the laundry. I love that I can add the amount that I desire so that my clothes and towels are not too fragrant but if I need a little more than I can add a little more to the load. I have an example of needing a little more long lasting scent- that is my bedding and the dogs bedding.
We have acquired two new great danes, the first was an abandoned dog that a friend found. He escaped after the first night and my children were devastated. This same friend came across another great dane which we decided to take in. A few days later the stray wandered up. So after a couple of weeks of coaxing and nearly a month of loving on him we have four dogs. That can be quite a handful and boy can it create a smelly room.
I love these crystals. They last much longer than liquid fabric softener and help me not have a home that smells like I am raising a pack of dogs.
Purex is not only allowing me to give out 3 coupons but they are holding a sweepstakes
One grand prize winner will receive $500 and 100 additional winners will receive a coupon for a free bottle of NEW Purex Crystals Fresh Mountain Breeze. Purex Crystals go in at the start of the wash and infuses your clothes with freshness that lasts for not just days but weeks!

New Purex Ultra Pack Laundry Review

I love reviewing products. This is another one from Purex. It is the same product as in the Triple Action liquid detergent but it is in a pre-dosed square. Very similar in idea to Cascade and their dish washing soaps. This is a great idea for when my children do laundry. I can trust that they will get in the right amount of soap because it is all pre-measured. It is also great for times when we go camping because I do not have to pack an entire bottle of laundry soap, I can just stick this is a zip-lock and we are ready to go. It takes up less space and I do not have to worry about it leaking everywhere. It really did have the same exact cleaning capabilities. I was not disappointed at all. Once again I did opt to get the Free and Clear so that I didn't have to worry about what was washed in the soap. I really love that Purex supports us families that have allergies by always having Free of Dye and Perfume products available.
Here is some information about their new product.
Give it a try you will love it.

What are Purex® UltraPacks™?
• New Purex UltraPacks are convenient pre-dosed liquid
detergent packs that make doing laundry easier than ever.
• Purex UltraPacks manage to squeeze all the performance
of our new Triple Action liquid formula into just one
powerful pack.
• Finally…No more mess. No more spills. No more heavy
jugs. It’s Laundry Simplified.®
• Each Purex UltraPack contains powerful 2x concentrated
liquid detergent, giving each UltraPack double
the cleaning power in every drop*.
• Purex UltraPacks dissolve quickly once the washer is
started—even in cold water.
• Purex UltraPacks are formulated and safe for all
machines, including high-efficiency (HE).

For Best Results
• Dry your hands before handling the UltraPacks – water
dissolves the film.
• Put (1) pack in the washer before adding clothing
(the more time they spend in the water, the faster
they dissolve). For larger or heavily soiled loads, use
an additional pack.
• If you have a front loader, make sure to put the pack
directly into the drum, not in the drawer.

Tackle it Tuesday

If you would like to see other Tackle it Tuesday click on the link..
As for my Tackle it Tuesday. It was hard to get motivated today. I wanted to come home and go back to bed after getting the kids to school. I had to think real hard on being that Proverbs 31 woman today. REAL HARD. So first thing I did was get a new load of wash in, then I did a load of dishes, then I ate breakfast..At that point I felt I got a couple things done so I was off to eat breakfast and check email. This afternoon I continued with a second load of dishes. Believe it or not I still have some that need to be washed by hand. I am going to see if my hubby will do those. He left them for me from his Salsa making adventure last night. I have been doing wash all day. I have nearly everything done. I have a pile of blankets and sleeping bags that I will have to keep working on this week but at least all the clothes are just about done and folded. I just need the kids to get what is there's and put them all away. Sadly we have been reworking some of the rooms so laundry baskets and buckets because holders for fabric and other things. It created a problem for me today. I have all the clothes I have done all day piled among two baskets in my daughters room (that is where the washer and dryer are).
I can't wait to have a table again... that is full of all that food I got good deals on... as the room that goes in was supposed to get finished this weekend. Yet, it waits...Hopefully this weekend we can get it done and I can square up my house. One of the Nine Blocks
I also finished up all of Jakobs sudoku blocks for his quilt. All 9 are pressed and ready for sashing, then the border then the top is done. Well embroidery of his name too...That will be a wait off my shoulders as Zekaryahs quilt is still not complete, and his birthday is this Saturday. I told both boys I need to push their birthdays to the same week, so it gives me one more weekend to get both quilts done...Zekaryah's we will do a week late, Jakob's a week early. I think it works. Now I need to shower and get myself to the school to help with choir. Tomorrow I spend the entire day at the school helping with a function for 5th graders so I am hoping my Tackle it Tuesday really helps me be prepared for getting nothing done then. All the little things really do add up.
