| A daughter contacted me that she wanted to turn her father's clothing into a quilt for her mother using all his work shirts. |

| This is Ohio- it is where Pauls' main hub for Rittal is located here in the States. He has been going there, this was the third trip between Dec and Feb. It really has been hard to have him gone so much in 8 weeks. He encountered A LOT OF SNOW. |

| We don't see snow like this in Magnolia. I am thankful that he is very safe driving in it! |

| This last trip was probably the worst storm he encountered on his trips out there. We were both a little worried as to if he would get to fly home this past Thursday. |

| I am thankful that he has amazing job security. It is not very convenient for us for him to travel so much lately. Its Jakob's senior year and we now have three students in High School. I don't have many friends or family members to rely on when things get a little crazy. I am thankful to the couple of friends that have assisted Zekaryah with rides home as needed so that I could have MeKenzei at Physical Therapy. I am also thankful for those same friends helping us while we had our own cold weather here and they housed both the younger two. |

| I would say that for him the snow got pretty old and I am super thankful that we can avoid being relocated there. I love Houston/Magnolia weather. I would much rather deal with the very warm summers than all this cold. |

| We were so excited to have him home and I think it will take a few days for him to recover and his body to adjust from night shift to days again. Even the dogs were super excited. |

| The Lord has brought a lot to our plates as of late. Its been very challenging to have Paul gone frequently. I am thankful that we are trying to grab the smallest moments together lately. I am not sure what the Lord is trying to teach us yet but I know he has a plan for us. It reminds me a lot of the days when our children were very little and he was gone often in the early stages with Compaq. It really makes me miss my mom so much. She was a great source of comfort during his absences. She was someone I could talk to when I got lonely or discouraged. I know it seems crazy that I have lived here 19 years and don't truly have anyone that I have that kind of relationship with. I am not sure why. I tend to make friends that are connected to things that I am involved in, not really friends that I do outside events with. I don't go out or get away. I pretty much surround my life with the activities of the kids and my husband. I am learning how much impact that decision might be in four years time. This past weekend Paul got to come home Thur night only to fly back out Monday. I was very thankful for the time but I admit my biploar is much more affected this time around. The first few nights are always more difficult, so since he came back and is gone two more weeks again, there is that readjustment time. I know the weather is part of the issue too, this constant back and forth between cold and somewhat warm is a little crazy, combined with cloudy days and low sunlight. I found myself really struggling today to work on an order. I am hoping that this too will pass and we will be back to our normal lives soon enough. I am super thankful that he is so successful at his job, that they need him and are very appreciative of his time. I am also thankful when layoffs are happening all over our country this little bit of knowledge secures his job. I take comfort in knowing that his traveling will be minor compared to so many soldiers and other father's/mother's that travel much more frequently and sometimes for many more months/years than my husband. |

| This is my favorite chicken, his beak has been turned sideways since day one, but he is doing fine. He loves to follow you around the coop like a best friend. |

| My daughter's bunnies got a new cage, their old one didn't work so well with this rainy month we have had. |

| New baby quail- all white that hatched for Father's Day weekend. They are super cute. It is hard to believe they turn from this very pretty yellow to all white feathers. |

| New construction, while my husband was away on his trip my two sons and I moved all the chickens to the new coop area, it really needed a roof. My husband spent the weekend coming up with a great plan. |

| The garden has done so well with all this rain, this area holds watermelon, cantaloupe and honey dew, as well as some extra tomatoes. |

| The squash have really outgrown their perimeter. Their production has slowed down too, so this weekend we will plant another section. It has been wonderful to share some of our produce with others that I work with or friends. |

| I love that we are having such a great success this year. It has prompted us to think about a fall garden. We tried it once and it didn't do so well. I am hoping this year will be an exception. |

| A new gate has been a blessing. Now I can go out feed in the first coop area and walk directly into the garden area to feed the chickens and pick our crop for the day. I am very thankful for this gate! |
